Hudson Valley Musing

Remember to change the clock

If you forget to change your clock tonight you will probably be late for appointments tomorrow.  It is that time again, to set the clocks ahead one hour.

None of us want to lose that hour but this happens every year.  Our bodies never get use to it and it takes me about three weeks to adjust.  On the upside I am looking forward to more daylight in the evening.  I can go outside and play in the garden.

This is a good time to check safety devices such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers etc.  Sometimes these equipment fail, so test to ensure they will be working if you need them. Change filters, and batteries too might need replacing.  How about your safety kit? Maybe a good time to replenish items.

The change in time is also a reminder we are close to spring.  What are your plans for spring? A vacation, especially after this harsh winter?  Maybe you are planning to buy or sell a home, and spring is a popular time to do so.

I can assist you with the latter, buying or selling a home.  I can advice you, and help you achieve your real estate goal this Spring.

Jennifer: All states should be like Hawaii where we do NOT change the clock.

Thanks for the reminder, Jennifer.

I really hate losing that extra hour. This year is even more important. Lately I've been doing a lot of BPOs and listing REOs and you know they have strict deadlines for things. So I'm going to be working my butt off tomorrow to get things done...just as I did today.
