Hudson Valley Musing

Before it became the Walkway over the Hudson

This is a photo from 2007 in my Flickr account, it was hidden among the thousands of photos I am yet to share.

The photo taken from the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY shows an old railroad bridge which has since been converted into The Walkway Over the Hudson, a big tourist draw to the area.

The view is spectacular especially during the Fall Foliage.

Looks pretty scenic and cold! Something about being a Floridian...I am judgmental when it comes to weather! Have a nice day!

Jennifer at least they put it to good use in stead of just tearing it down.

Good morning Jennifer. Sure does seem like a great new use and one that not only attracts tourists, but is enjoyed by the locals as well.

Make it a great weekend!
