Hudson Valley Musing

Winter Market at the Milan Town Hall

Milan Winter Farmers' Market a place for goodies

Milan Winter Farmers' Market         Don't miss the Milan Winter Farmers Market this Saturday at the Milan Town Hall. It is one of the many farmers market to be found in the Hudson Valley.

Two of the main vendors at the market are:

Bread & Bottle

Bread and Bottle is a restaurant in Red Hook with a bakery producing fresh baked breads. Here are a few of the breads which will be available.

  • Baguettes
  • plain breads
  • Seeded Breads, Poppy, Fennel and Sesame

You will agree with me there is nothing more enticing than the smell of freshly baked bread. Milan Winter Farmers' Market

Tom Heritage Baked Goods and Jam

Tom provides all types of goodies, cakes pies, brownies and Jam. Some items have to be ordered ahead of time, due to popularity they go quickly on the day of the market.

I have had the breads and Jam it is no surprise these items get sold out.

So this Saturday stop in at the Milan Winter Farmers' Market and pick up some goodies, they might just come in real handy on Sunday when the next snow storm rolls in. Imagine yourself watching the snow while snacking on Bread and Bottle breads and Tom's jam.

Location of Market Milan Town Hall 20 Wilcox Circle

Date and Time Saturday March 1st 10 AM -2 PM

Jennifer we don't have any Winter Farmers Markets around here, so I am waiting until the weather warms up and we start to see them again.
