Hudson Valley Restaurant Week begins on Sunday March 18th and runs for two weeks ending on the 31st. A great opportunity to visit restaurants from Westchester County to the city of Hudson In Columbia County. This post will be about the restaurants in Dutchess County participating in this event.
There are a variety of restaurants in Dutchess County and this is no accident. Dutchess Restaurants have top notch chefs from the renowned Culinary Institute of America located in the town of Hyde Park. With such an institution in their backyard you should expect fine dining.
You will find Dutchess County restaurants from Beacon to Rhinebeck and quite a variety in cuisine; from French, Spanish,Indian, Italian, Jamaican and much more. Would you guess that KU Yah was the Jamaican restaurant? If you have never dined at the Culinary (CIA) then take this opportunity to try the wonderful cuisines- three of the restaurants on the list are at the CIA.

Anyway what a Culinary Bargain under $30 for Dinner, I could hardly believe my eyes. BTW I went to the CIA about 30 years ago for Dinner but you needed one year advance reservation. Do they still do that?

Endre I wonder what happened? Things have change at the CIA, it is much large now and you can get in much sooner than a year. I do hope many will try to do so this month for the amazing price of just under $30 dollars.
