Maple Leaf

I was at a home inspection Saturday evening in Poughkeepsie NY and the homeowner was outside raking. I went outside to ask a question and suddenly noticed how beautiful the leaves were. The Maple leaves were the largest I have seen so I picked up a few. In the frame above is a Maple Leaf I gathered.
If you read my blog you know that I find delight in the small things. Yes, even the leaves are wonderfully made and this Maple Leaf is no exception.

I admire being able engage the simple stuff with such intrigue. We all should take pointers from you. :) AND it IS a nice leaf after all. :)
Jennifer even though we did not the colorful leaves that we are accustom to seeing this time of the year, there are still a few that stand out.
