Lunch at Alpamayo a Peruvian Restaurant in Lee MA

Today I went Leaf peeping in the Berkshire.  I took the train ride from Stockbridge to Lenox.  My option was a two how lay over at the museum in Lenox or two hours to walk around Lee.  I decided to spend the two hours in Lee where I discovered a lovely Peruvian Restaurant called Alpamayo.  I like all sorts of cuisine and somehow I knew this would make my day.

I love Yucca (cassava) but I have never had it in the form of fries, I really loved it and will probably make it myself.  A good portion of the menu was centered around seafood which I love, so I really enjoyed the food.

For dessert I had a Flan, it was called something else which I can't recall.  All I can say is that it was awesome.  I have a love hate relationship with flan, I hate it when I can taste egg.  This was just creamy and delicious.

I would definitely go back.

hello Jennifer, Flan is one of my favorite desert, for me, it is the right consistency, not too soft, not too hard to make the perfect flan! This looks like a tasty restaurant.

Eileen the food is prepared fresh and is very tasty.  This flan was perfect, wasn't too hard or soft just right.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Jennifer, This is a lovely display of flan...I had no idea that flan spread over different nationalities!

Jane I think it is a universal dessert.  I don't like some of the flans I have had, put this one was just right.

That Flan really looks good. Nice review.  I seem to always find the chain restaurants...need to start living on the edge and trying something different!

Jennifer, the restaurant sounds delicious!  I have only tried flan a couple of times.  The first time I had it I could taste the egg.  I was reluctant to try it again but when I finally did, it was delicious!
