Saugerties NY Historic Kiersted House

Kiersted HouseSaugerties NY Historic Kiersted House was built in 1727 and was the home of Dr. Kiersted who rendered services to participants of the revolutionary war.

This site is open from May to October on Saturdays and Sundays from 2-4PM.

When I visited recently I was speaking to a member of the Historical Society Board and he told me they actually developed a board game of Saugerties called Saugertopoly to celebrate Saugerties bicentennial this year, and as a fundraiser.  The game can be purchased at the Kiersted House and I have heard players have stayed up all night playing it.

Location: 119 Main Street Saugerties, NY 12477

Telephone # 845-246-9529 or 845-246-0784

Jennifer some of the trees on the property look like they could be old enough to have been there when that house was built.

Good morning Jennifer.  I like the pictures and the google maps.  Do we need permission to use the google maps?

Jennifer   One of the things I like about the eastrcoast is that we have homes similar to the Kiersted House - your report makes me want to see it some day
