Do you ever have a week that follows a theme? This week seems to be my farm week.
I saw this goat and kid at the end of the young farmers event I attended a week ago.
It made me recall an incident when as a child a goat came up behind me and knocked me of a step. One of those memories that stays with you.

I'll bet that memory would stay with you. Oh, to be a kid again.
Glenn it is still funny recalling the incident. I could so use some of that energy :)
LOL, Jennifer - isn't amazing how certain pictures or events remind us of the past?
What a cute picture, Jennifer! My daughter was at a petting zoo once, and the goat tried to eat her blonde pigtail. She loudly said, "HEY!!" We laughed as Mr. Goat thought her hair was "HAY". :)
Great photo Jennifer...and a great reminder of your childhood... how awesome is that?!
So because of the memory, do you like goats? Or hate them... hmmm...
Jennifer, Some weeks do seem to take on a theme, Great photo! I love it!
Cute picture. Amazing the impact that small events can have on our lives, esp when we are young.
Hi Jennifer, goats are unpredictable! and kind of creep me out if you want to know the truth. I like to view them from a distance and the kids are really cute :-)
Jennifer I have one of those memories as well. When I was about 7 years old, I got to close to the rear of a cow, and she sent me flying for a few feet. I never did that again :)
Cute photo Jennifer, fun to see baby animals, you just want to take one home
Juli that is why I love photos they can certainly tell a story.
Sonja I like that, Mr. Goat thought her pigtail was hay- so funny :)
Peggy I still get a good laugh whenever I think of the incident.
Chris I had the last laugh. I love goat cheese and curry goat :)
Tony and Darcy, theme is actually a good thing, I might want to do more of it.
Debbie it is amazing the little thing you recall, and then there are other events that fail to register.
Mary I am like that now I prefer to view animals from a far.
George I can relate to this one. When I was young I stood behind a donkey and it knocked the wind out of me. No wonder I view animals from a distance now :)
Brian they do look cute but I don't want to take one home :)
Great picture. You really are in the country, aren't you? One day when I get to New York...and the other places I want to see like Vermont, New Hampshire, Canada I will have to stop by.
