Wordless Wedesday-Another old house in the Hudson Valley

Wednesday is the usual Broker's Open House Day and today I saw some really lovely homes.  One of the house was located in such a manner that the views  of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains were just magnificent.View

I took a break between open houses to get some plants for my vegetable garden and on the way, here is a lovely old house  in the Hudson Valley that I saw.  On the side of the house was inscribed 1766 and it sure looks like it was built around that time period.

Amazing these old houses are still standing. Seems every couple of generations people want to tear down and build new!

Gary I am so glad that many old er homes were preserved in this are.  With the homes intact they are a living history of a time gone by.
