Friday Foto-Letting go off my leaves is so hard to do

Tree

You would think all the leave would be off the trees by now, I mean here in the Northeast.  That is not the case; just the other day I saw this tree which really stood out because it was covered with bright yellow leaves while the others trees with the exception of the evergreens laid bare.

Jennifer, the tree is hanging on to a past memory of the warm days of summer. Talk to it.

Jennifer that one really has an odd look but they'll eventually let go.  It's the right thing to do!

Howdy and morning to you Jennifer

Jennifer,
we've got a few trees that are doing their best to hang onto their leaves also. I even got some flowers that are saying, cold and snow we sure ain't at all afraid of you.

Have a good one

The beauty of the leaves while on the trees is mostly gone but raking them up sure isn't!

Jennifer - great photo!  At this time of year, it might be time for the rest of leaves to just "let go"!

This is so funny, esp w/ more  leaves at the bottom (which makes sense as there is more protection there.

HA!  Now I am surprised that there are still leaves on the tree this time of year there!  VERY stubborn tree!  You always have such awesome pics, Jennifer!

It'll be covered in that beautiful white stuff soon enough and will have a new color.  I hope you'll catch that one, Jennifer.  I love SEEING the white stuff, just not shoveling it.

Lynn what should I say? :)

Hannah me too.  When we first moved to the area the leaves were off the trees and I thought how depressing, you see I was not use to the dramatic changes in the season.

Kevin It is the right thing to do; time to let the leaves go.

Terry that's the type of tropical scene I was use to.

Dale this year the trees seem more stubborn than usual.   What type of flowers are still daring winter?'

Sue I know what you mean.   I am still struggling with the raking bit.

Peggy over the last two days it has gotten colder so this will happen soon.

Jennifer you I don't blame that tree for trying to hang on to its leaves, it has been cold out there :)
