Wordless Wednesday- I heard Chelsea Clinton's wedding will be down the road
By now, everyone has heard Chelsea Clinton wedding will be held in Rhinebeck, New York and to be more specific at a former Astor family mansion on River Road.
River Road is a New York State scenic road with many large gates, gate houses and long driveways which leave you wondering what is at the end of those driveways.
Besides the private mansions on the river side of the road, there are also several farms, as well as historic sites: Montgomery Place, and Poet's Walk (the inspiration for Washington Irving's story of Rip Van Winkle).
What I love about River Road is the scenic beauty; open space, mature trees and the beautiful view of the Catskill Mountains. Yes, this is an ideal setting for a wedding, right on the banks of the majestic Hudson River.

Lot's going on right there now, right? Exciting times for locals, just saw a local r.e. agent (they said) who was intereviewed on the nightly news.
Jennifer I was going to come to the area for Chelsea's wedding. But for some crazy reason,I didn't my invitation in the mail. Maybe they forgot to put the stamp on it and mail it-LOL. Have a great weekend. Great post. Nice pic.
Hi Jennifer - To give you an idea of how well your branding is working, when I heard Rhinebeck on the news I thought of you! You can get a lot of hyperlocal topics out of this event.
I heard about the wedding too and thought of you. Rhinebeck will certainly get good publicity and it may help the real estate activity in your area.

Jennifer- I read your post on anothe platform a few days ago. Tried to comment. Don't think it went through. However, you were way ahead of conventional news that appeared only today in my inbox. And by the way, based on what I read, you are not supposed to be talking about it? Did you not sign a confidentiality agreement? I guess you are not one of the vendors and you are just repeating gossip. If your post disappears, I will know what happened.
Based on your photograph, I cannot imagine a more congenial spot.

Hi Jennifer. Everytime I heard about Chelsea Clinton's wedding I thought of you and your beautiful neck of the woods. Your photo is breathtaking. I love the Catskill mountains. New York is such a beautiful state.
Jennifer - There has been a lot of buzz on the tv and radio about Chelsea's wedding this weekend. There's no doubt it will be an absolutely magical day for a wedding in such a majestic location. I love your photo and immediately thought of you when it was announced where the wedding was going to be held.
