Wordless Wednesday- A Rear View of the Tappan Zee Bridge

Last Friday, I left Dutchess County, NY and headed to Ulster County, then Orange County and Rockland County.  To get to Westchester I had to cross the Tappan Zee Bridge.  I wanted a view of the bridge, however, I was driving so I asked my daughter to take this shot.  On the way back I took a different route; I passed through  a small portion of Connecticut and then I was back in New York.  The last County before Dutchess was Punam County.  You could say I went in a circle and in the middle of all of this was the Hudson River. I went down the west side and came back up the east side. These counties make up part of the Hudson Valley region.

I am glad your Daughter helped you out. Soon driving and taking photos will be outlawed because so many of us do it......myself included!

Jennifer, I do everything I can to avoid the Tappan Zee and the George Washington Bridge.  I always get stuck in traffic on them, so I try to avoid them any way I can.

Your daughter did a good job. You took a great shot =)  I wish we have more gracious bridges like this that we could see.

Interesting and creative shot, Jennifer! The lane markers really pull the focus to the bridge.

HAHA - that's a pretty cool perspective, Jennifer!  i have a thing for bridges - not such a good thing.  Terrified of BIG bridges - palms sweat, heart races, etc......gotta get over that.  Then again, no big bridges here so I'm good!  ;)

Jennifer - love the shot.  Don't always love crossing that bridge.  Did it for too many years while commuting to the Bronx and hated all the traffic.

It's a good thing you told us your daughter took that picture because I was really going to come down hard on you for driving while picturing. LOL

Jennifer,

That is quite a good way to take a picture of the bridge. Very creative way to get a good shot. :)
