Poughkeepsie NY 55+ Community - Spring Manor

Jennifer - This is great info for the senior community in Hudson Valley. I am surprised by a senior community with two levels. Most I have seen are single level. Do you have communities like this for sale?

Derrick The senior population is precious to me so I love providing information to them.  I am on the Seniors Committee in the town where I live.

Paula - We do have units for sale  there is a complex in Pine Plains NY.  The senior apartments around here are mostly 2 -3 stories with elevators, they are very nice, I have blogged previously on the complex in Red Hook, NY.

Jennifer, there's another 55 plus coming to Haverstraw by WCI Communities- they are taking reservations now.  I don't know what distance this is from your area, but they are very Realtor friendly.  Worth checking out (I'm not with WCI anymore, just thought I'd mention it to you).  A REALLY WONDERFUL aspect of WCI is that they pay the Realtor 1/2 of the commission within 3 weeks of the contract; the balance at closing.

That looks like a great place for the 55 plus community. I will have to check and see if they have some of those places around the Austin area. Cristy

Jennifer - I wish there was more senior housing where I live. My parents are looking but there is just no where to go.  They just put in a fairly large 55+ community near me but the one bedrooms are going for $500,000, taxes are estimated to be $9000 with $300 per mo common charges.  It is crazy - I wish they would come up with an affordable solution.
