Wordless Wednesday-Where is my next meal?

Wordless Wednesday-Where is my next meal?

Pigeons are very common birds, and if you ever spend any time in New York City you would have noticed them.  This fellow in the photo I came across while taking a walk at Playland in Rye NY.  It looks like he had no idea where his next meal would come from.  You could say he is looking in all the wrong places.

Pigeon

On a side note even Google is fascinated by pigeons do you know what the PigeonRank is?

Hi Jennifer... my grandmother used to refer to them as rats with wings.  I have never been a big fan of the pigeon except for this.

Dagny this tells you a bit about my sense of humor :).  I love Rye Playland especially taking a walk on the boardwalk.

Jennifer, Very cute but I'm sorry to say that he has lots of brothers and sisters who are looking in all the wrong places also.

Marchel I couldn't agree more, they can certainly make a nuisance of themselves.

I  think pigeons have a gotten a bad rap... I think they will survive when other birds may not!  LOL.  They certainly know where to find the food most of the time.

Jennifer, that pigeon might not know where to find his next meal, but his buddies know how to find my car, especially right after I wash it :)

LOL you actually made him look pretty attractive in this photo.  Who'd a thunk it?

Joan that is a very good point, pigeons can teach us a lesson in survival....how about the pigeon theory for the existing real estate market?..:)

George that is so true, just after washing the car a bird always comes along.  Your comment sure made me chuckle.

Jenny when you get up close it is a pretty bird I love the design and colors.

Hi Jennifer.  Oh yes, I remember those guys well, especially the one who pooped on my hair right before a corporate business meeting.  But that was another life and another place and guess what, we don't have them in Hawaii!
