Jennifer:

$20 is a bargain for such a worthwhile event. I love wine and cheese festivals and this one sounds like it will have a great view to enjoy as well.

This sounds like an event that would be a lot of fun!!! I remember driving to see relatives as a child through that area - there were 3 bears (stuffed) on the side of the road someplace (no idea where) on the way to Afton from Connecticut.

I SO enjoy reading your reports on local happenings. For me, it is almost like a mini-vacation when I peek in to see the latest news =)

Roy I am sure it was fun, a real pity I could not be in two places at the same time.

Claudette - The location alone was worth $20.00

Barbara-Jo you would have had fun.

Diane with all the cutbacks more communities will have to do things like this to maintain their public spaces.

Hannah more than I have time to write about, I do think it is worth while to bring these events to the attention of the public.

Jo-Anne that is so sweet, with encouragement like this I better keep posting :)

Jennifer, $20.00 is pretty cheap for what you get.  Hope you guys get a good turn out and raise lots of money.

Yummy - I love wine & cheese festivals.  Too bad we don't have enough of these around here.  It sounded like it would be lots of fun.

Now this sounded like something right up my ally! Your "New York" is just so different than the one I imagined!
