Speechless Sunday-The Flower And The Ant

The Flower and the ant sounds like a children book.  I took this shot and although I did not consider it a particularly good one what caught my eyes was the small ant.  Spring time sure brings the little creatures out and they seem to gravitate to sweet smelling flowering plants.  Why is that, I wonder?

That would be a good childrens book.  I think you are on to something. Keep us posted on this new project.

Jennifer you are becoming quite the photographer.  Ants can be amazing, especially how they can carry things many times their weight and size.

Hey Jennifer, you have water droplets too, that make that an interesting picture. George is right about how amazing the ants really are!  Do you think they are after honey for their master?

Jennifer, We have fire ants here in Texas and believe me they have a bite to them.  I had no idea what fire ants were until I moved here.
