Wordless Wednesday-Street Scene Uptown Kingston NY

Scene Uptown Kingston NY

Today when I was Uptown Kingston waiting to sign some paperwork I could not resist taking a shot of such a glorious spring day.  Actually at almost 90 degrees it felt more like the middle of the summer.

In this area you can find many old homes, this is considered a historic district.  As a matter of fact the site of the first meeting of the New York  State Assembly was just down the street.  They met in Bogardus Tavern.

Hi Jennifer,

Beautiful photo showcasing your community. It's been fun see so many spring photos, everything is in bloom and the Mid Hudson Valley is no exception.

Very nice pic Jennifer.  We do not have brick homes in my area of Southern Calif. due to earthquakes.

Jennifer~

I can imagine the home in your photo in an April 100+ years ago...without the phone lines and still softened by flowering trees.

Ray -Uptown Kingston NY has a wide variety of older homes, I also enjoy walking around and looking at the  various styles and historic markers.

Mark -Stone and Brick homes are so beautiful, sorry you miss out on this style :)

JaneAnne when I was taking the picture I was not happy the  lines were in the way but I could not avoid them.  I agree it would be a much prettier view with them.

Bill After this winter I did not want to complain but 90 degree weather is not good for me, I like it in the 70's but would settle for 80.  Okay so you can have one more 90 degree weather day but that's it!  :)
