Back in January on a visit to New York City I passed by the Ed Sullivan Theater home to the Late Show with David Letterman. I was amazed at the number of people who were willing to brave the frigid cold for a ticket to the late show; I personally don't get it. And to think many of these people waiting for hours would not make the cut. I suppose I don't have the mindset for this.

Suffering from winter time cabin fever will make you do strange things and this if one of them. Yes I will admit that I have waited in line for tickets in the cold and im not a winter person.
Michele you have good point, cabin fever can make you do strange thinks.
Jennifer, I am with you, There is nooooooooooooo way anyone could get me to stand in one of those lines, even on the nicest of days.
George I think if they want you to come see the show, provide a better waiting area. Looks like we are not going to get in :)
And the Ed Sullivan theater is known for being cold too! BRRRRR
Wait in the cold for Letterman? I doubt it but maybe for Leno!
Carla it was extremely cold that day, It must have been rough waiting in that weather.
Gary I know someone who would for Steve Colbert, I prefer the comfort of home,
I would love to be in the audience for the David Letterman Show but just not quite that bad! Those are some diehards!
Jennifer, at the moment I can't think of a single thing I'd be willing to wait in the frigid cold for!

I don't think I have ever stood in line for hours to get into anything. I don't think I ever will either.
Hi Jennifer. Brrrr, that looks like a cold scene indeed. I don't think I could handle that anymore.
