Speechless Sunday -  An Overcast Day In New York City From The Top Of The Rock

New York City is an interesting place in all sorts of weather condition.  This is a view of an overcast New Yotk City Skyline as seen from the Top of the Rock and here is another view of New York skyline when the sun was shining.

Jennifer you probably have more people in the buildings in your picture that we have in all of Montrose County. Nice photo

Hi Jennifer.  It's a great photo and there's not many who wouldn't recognize the Hudson these days.

Aloha!

Hey Jennifer, its beautiful here today in Houston.  My office is only 2 stories tall, but I have a great view most days.

Nick you are probably right.

Richard  Do you mean after the plane landed on the river?  That did get played over an over across the world.

Liz where I live 2 stories is mostly what I see.  So what makes up your view?

Hi Jennifer - Forgive me but what is the Rock?  The only Rock I know is the nickname for Newfoundland.  And this definitely doesn't look like Newfoundland.  Hope you had fun in the city.

Never mind.  I just checked out your link.  And looks like it was a brighter day when you took the photo in that post.

Jenny Top of the Rock refers to Rockefeller Center, here is a link http://www.topoftherocknyc.com/welcome/default.aspx

That is what can be so funny about a winter day it can go from being sunny to overcasted very quickly, it happens here all the time.

Jennifer, thank you for taking those pictures because... not only are they cool but...

I am terrified of heights and will not be going up there in this lifetime! So thanks for the view. :D

Well, at least you have an awesome view even if it's cloudy outside. It was a grey day here in Denver too. I am hoping the sun comes back tomorrow. Have a great week.

Jennifer that is a great shot.  Those are some really tall buildings.  I like things a little closer to the ground :) :)

Jennifer:  What a great view.  Seeing something like this... taken from so high up... is so cool... yet in some ways I also find it scary.  Something about heights, I guess.
