Mixture in Newburgh NY A signage shop you should consider
I recently started my own real estate business and one of the major decisions I had to make was about
signage.
I had my signs that I had bought for my previous company and was not happy about just throwing them out. I really believe in recycling stuff. After checking with several companies I got frustrated because I was told it was not worth the effort to repaint them.
Then I ran into another agent who had recently changed companies and somehow the conversation turned to signage. She mentioned there was this company that could do exactly what I wanted. I immediately got on the phone and that is how I met Ken Schermerhorn of Mixture. From our brief conversation I knew we were going to get along just fine. Then I found out he was a wiz with computers and that was even better. I sent him my logo and in no time he had a draft ready for me.
I packed up all the old signs and delivered them to his shop. There I saw many signs that had been transformed into new ones. He told me that real estate agents keep him busy. The day I was in the shop he was doing an enormous screen print to wrap a car. In another part of the shop I noticed tee shirts with logos.
A week later I was back to pick up my signs and I can tell you I was really impressed with the work.
So, Mixture in Newburgh NY is a sign shop that does excellent work for many local business, from resorts to radio station to real estate Brokerages.
Mixture, thanks for helping me to get my business off to a good start. And, most of all, achieving my recycling goal and saving money at the same time.

Jennifer,
It's always good to have on your side someone who you can trust on your advertising stuff and everything related to printing. :P
Hi Jennifer,
Re-painting your old signs? I've never heard of this, but I'm a believer in recycling anything I can myself.
Ray and this company is just that.
Lynda I just couldn't see why I should throw out perfectly good signs. I was please I found a place to recyce them and it even cost less.
That is a really cool idea. I have never thought about repainting but it makes a lot of "cents!" Thanks.
Jennifer, Congratulations on starting your own company. good idea to get signs repainted.
Gary it sure makes sense.
Gita Thank you. Time we start recycling, I wonder how many signs end up in the land-fill yearly that could have been reused.
First off, congrats on starting your own business, I don't know how I missed that. Second, great article on a good local business.

Hi Jennifer,
Sorry I can't recommend this company. After 2 phone calls and 3 emails(no return calls or email) with a unfinished proof.I think I will find another company
Brendan sorry your experience was not what you expected. I have been more than satisfied with my business dealing with Mixture and I know many who have had similar experience. Have you tried communicating this to them? I know how important customer service is to any business especially in the present market and no one wants bad press so my advice is to tell them how you feel.
