Speechless Sunday - A Bridge to nowhere

A bridge to no where - Along the Hudson River

This was one of the scene I capture from my trip on the train.  I first called it a bridge to nowhere but looking closer that is not entirely true; more like a bridge to an icy dip in the Hudson River.  I can't imagine why it has been left dangling like that.

Jennifer - nice photo...it obviously is not a bridge that is used any longer....but why has it been left dangling like that?

For just a minute, I thought we had another robot on the scene. I think we have a bridge like this in Alaska too. Another good picture, Jennifer.

There has to be a story there somewhere.  Wonder how long it's been a dead end.

Jennifer, I suppose the bridge collapsed and nobody on that side of the river had the budget or incentive to do anything about it... Interesting photo!

I can't think of why it's been left dangling there either, Jenn. Great photo, btw.
