This was one of the scene I capture from my trip on the train. I first called it a bridge to nowhere but looking closer that is not entirely true; more like a bridge to an icy dip in the Hudson River. I can't imagine why it has been left dangling like that.

Jennifer - nice photo...it obviously is not a bridge that is used any longer....but why has it been left dangling like that?
Jennifer~
Great shot...and I suppose a metaphor....I am looking at it as a metaphor for New Opportunities...
Hey Jenn,
You've got some great shots from that trip!
I hope there is a road block at the other end!
Hey Jenn where exactly is that? Neat shot!
It went somewhere once, but not lately. Nice Pic, thanks for sharing.
A bridge for those newfangled underwater cars? LOL, great shot Jennifer!
Niether can I Jennifer. It looks like it has been that way for quite some time too. Have a good week
LOL - Jennifer what a great title to your article and oh so appropriate:)
Interesting picture. You would think someone would recycle all that steel! You always have interesting pictures, Jennifer.
For just a minute, I thought we had another robot on the scene. I think we have a bridge like this in Alaska too. Another good picture, Jennifer.
Jennifer, I hope nobody was on that bridge, yikes, that water looks cold.
This is an awesome a picture. I wonder how long it's been there.
Jennifer I would have hated to of been either on that bridge or sailing under it when it came tumbling down :)
Jennifer,
great picture, but you missed your water mark, where is it? Did I miss it ? :) take care ! :P
Hi Jennifer - Very interesting! It must have at one time gone across the river....
Debi
There has to be a story there somewhere. Wonder how long it's been a dead end.
Jennifer, Thank you for sharing the picture. You always take good pictures.
Jennifer, I suppose the bridge collapsed and nobody on that side of the river had the budget or incentive to do anything about it... Interesting photo!
I can't think of why it's been left dangling there either, Jenn. Great photo, btw.
