Wordless Wednesday - Horse Country Stanfordville NY

Horse Country Standfordville NY

You might be saying where are the horses? although not seen in this exquisite view ,Stanfordville is horse country. Recently I was previewing properties in the area for a client looking for a second home in the country and every other property seemed to have horses.  The area in which I was looking had property size from 10 acres up.

Stanfordville is a popular area for second homes. I suspect it is so popular because of the open space,  beautiful views and it's proximity to Rhinebeck and Millbrook.

Jennifer, what a beautiful area. Yes, so many horses in NY State, but did you know... CT has more horses per square mile than any other state? Not that it is that astounding, CT is rather small, LOL.

Jennifer,

I like this. I like the clouds and the fields - and the colors. I also like how you can make up your own story. :)

Jennifer, this looks like a great place to ride a horse!  And that sky looks like it's in the middle of a big transition!

Jennifer, that is a lot of open space, and plenty of room for horses to run around in.

Andrea I know CT has lots of horses.  CT is one of my favorite State.  Did you know it is about the size of Jamaica and they have nutmeg in common?.....lol

Marney I love clouds I should put a set together of all my cloud shots.  This camera takes great wide angle shots.

Pat thank you.  I stood there fore a while just admiring the view.

****I added a link to more pictures.

I will be back later running to a an appointment.  Losing power for over seven hours does set you back.

Have a great day.

Jennifer - Amazing. I just did not think of New York having such terrain. I just thought about a nice trip...if I had a month off and the budget I would travel around the states to visit some of these locations I have been introduced to on AR! And your area would definitely be on my list!
