You might be saying where are the horses? although not seen in this exquisite view ,Stanfordville is horse country. Recently I was previewing properties in the area for a client looking for a second home in the country and every other property seemed to have horses. The area in which I was looking had property size from 10 acres up.
Stanfordville is a popular area for second homes. I suspect it is so popular because of the open space, beautiful views and it's proximity to Rhinebeck and Millbrook.

Jennifer, what a beautiful area. Yes, so many horses in NY State, but did you know... CT has more horses per square mile than any other state? Not that it is that astounding, CT is rather small, LOL.
Jennifer, those clouds are so beautiful! This looks almost like a panoramic shot! So awesome!
Looks good even without the horses!! Thanks for the picture...
Looks great. I love upstate NY. This land is lovely looking. It looks as if winter is not far away.
Jennifer, this is amazing. I would have never guessed that this was New York. It looks like Nevada or Utah! Amazing!
Jennifer,
I like this. I like the clouds and the fields - and the colors. I also like how you can make up your own story. :)

Hi Jennifer... Great pic! It looks almost like this could be a scene from Texas.
Jennifer, this looks like a great place to ride a horse! And that sky looks like it's in the middle of a big transition!
Those are some gorgeous skies above the horse country, Jennifer. Beautiful.
Jennifer, that is a lot of open space, and plenty of room for horses to run around in.
This looks like some great land for homes and horses. I hope that the horses come back for a photo shoot.
Jennifer, what a beautiful area! It would make great horse property!
Andrea I know CT has lots of horses. CT is one of my favorite State. Did you know it is about the size of Jamaica and they have nutmeg in common?.....lol
Marney I love clouds I should put a set together of all my cloud shots. This camera takes great wide angle shots.
Pat thank you. I stood there fore a while just admiring the view.

One can see for miles... and get LOST in the clouds! Makes you forget about the other stuff!
Jennifer, I, too forget there is LAND available in New York! I don't get upstate often and when I do I remember how beautiful it is up there. Good luck, this property is lovely.
This is really beautiful country, Jennifer! I like how those fluffy clouds blanket the distant hills.
Wonderful clouds in that sky, Jennifer. Did you make out any critters in them? LOL
Debi

Bruce once you get outside of NYC you would discover that NY have lots of open space.

Debi I did not, next time I will be a bit more observant....lol
Jennifer - Amazing. I just did not think of New York having such terrain. I just thought about a nice trip...if I had a month off and the budget I would travel around the states to visit some of these locations I have been introduced to on AR! And your area would definitely be on my list!
