In Hyde Park NY during the month of October there were 21 closed sales in the single family detached market. There were 3 mobile home in the mix as well as several foreclosures. The selling price range from $48,100 a foreclosure to $323,000.
Hyde Park continues to be an area with a good inventory under $300,000. Now that the Tax Credit has been extended I am sure we will continue to see the Hyde Park inventory moving.

Really looks like some great deals out there, much continued success
Jennifer it looks like the lower end of the market is what has been moving? I am sure the tax credit has been part of the reason.
I like the photos you use, Jennifer. Thank you for the update.
Shocking how low NY has come.............
Melissa I would say so. thank you.
Bill That's correct, and yes the tax credit is a factor.
Guy Thank you. Did you see the little yellow butterfly?
Thanks for the report. Nice picture.
Mark Hyde Park is just one town and price varies based on location. Just couple towns away there were sales in the 700's
Gita - Thank you.
Hi Jennifer,
Another informative report on Hyde Park real estate. I'd imagine the extension of the $8,000 tax credit would help a lot of the buyers in that $300,000 price range.
Ever since reading about FDR as a young kid, I've always wanted to see that place.
Lynda I think it will certainly have a big impact.
The FDR site does get lots of visitors every year. I should probably put my photos of the site together in a photo blog.
