Red Hook Estates in Red Hook NY is a neighborhood in the Village of Red Hook and consists ofRed Hook Estate Collage four streets namely: Cambridge Drive, Kent Road, Amherst Road, and Hamilton Drive. There are about 69 homes on Cambridge, 18 on Kent, 14 on Amherst and 23 on Hamilton. At the moment there is one house listed on Kent. According to public records, homes in this development were built from the early 1950’s to 1990’s. The style of homes you will find in Red Hook Estates are, ranches, colonials, split levels, raised ranches and Cape Cods. The square footage on the majority of these homes seem to fall between 1100-1500 , with lot size under an acre. . Home price here run in the high 100’s and up.

Red Hook Estates in Red Hook NY has two entrances , the first is on Amherst Road which intersects with South Broadway (Route 9), a major route running the entire length of Dutchess County - actually, it runs from Albany to New York City. Red Hook Estates is a very convenient location, you can walk to banks, a deli,a supermarket, the Lyceum cinema and Holy Cow a popular ice-cream spot. What is also nice about this entrance is the fact that there is a Farm Market right at the entrance ,so residents can always get fresh fruit and vegetables. The second entrance is on Old Farm Road, that is the entrance you would take to go to the cinema or to get ice-cream.

The school district serving Red Hook Estates is the Red Hook Central School district which consist of 3 schools, Mill Road Elementary, Linden Avenue Middle School and Red Hook High School.

Living in the country, driving is a must since there public transportation is limited. If you have to commute you can catch the Amtrak in Rhinecliff about 10-15 minutes away.
