The Fisher Center in the town of Red Hook
The Fisher Center is located at Bard College in the town of Red Hook. This is an important cultural center in the community; and people come from all over to be entertained by variety of shows.
What’s happening at the Fisher Center this summer?
This summer like most summers, there is a lot going on at the Fisher Center; something for everyone.
Bard Summerscape begins July 5th and run until August 18. What is summerscape? it is seven weeks of opera, film, music, theater and dance.
There will be 5 performances.
July 26th and August 2nd at 7PM
July 28th, 31st and August 4th at 3 PM
The opera is Orestia by Russian Composer – Sergey Taneyev
Stravinsky’s Legacy and Russian Emigre cinema

The Hudson Valley is a great place for outdoor fun in the summer; from pick your own fruit farms to sailing on the Hudson River, there is so much to do. It is also nice to know you don’t have to sacrifice cultural activities because you are out of the city.
