Testing my new camera-Dogwoods

I was so sad my old camera died. it was such an invaluable tool.  I still find myself turning it on hoping that by some miracle it will work again.

Although, deep down, I was hoping that it would still work I am also realistic;   a camera is an essential tool for a real estate agent.

Taking photographs is a cherished hobby, however,  I don't like to have too many buttons or a long menu to deal with on a camera.  If I see something I want to photograph I want to do it in the moment, not spending time setting up the shot or putting on add-ons.

So what kind of camera did I go for?  I chose the Panasonic Lumix DMXC LX3 because of the good reviews and the wide angle lens.  Actually my husband did the research for me, he even sent me a post from Activerain - go figure :)Camera

I thought it was appropriate to first photograph the Dogwood trees I can see from my office window.
