It is a new year but many are still suffering from the economic downturn, and even our Red Hook community has not escaped this situation. Over the last year, we have seen are heard of many food pantries going empty. This has left many without the basic necessities.
Last year The Town of Red Hook Seniors services committee held a successful Food Drive to which you contributed generously, however a need still exist. With that in mind 2 events are scheduled this month.
So here is how you could participate:
Items needed: Non-perishable food items, paper products and baby items (e.g. diapers and wipes)
When: February 9 & February 16
Drop Off: The Red Hook Firehouse
Time: 1:00 - 3:00 PM
The donation will be given to the Dutchess County Community Action in Red Hook for distribution.
Sponsored by
The Red Hook Seniors and The Town of Red Hook Senior Services Committee.
The food drive is a an opportunity for you to help a Red Hook neighbor.
