Celebrating 200 years of Red Hook NY

Back in 1812 Red Hook and Rhinebeck parted ways and Red Hook became an independent town.  There are currently plans underway to celebrate the Red Hook Bicentennial in  2012.

The Red Hook Bicentennial Celebration Committee is busy putting activities together and preparing for the kickoff scheduled  for Hardscrabble Day on September 24, 2011.

It is going to be fun learning about what life was like back then.  If you have old photos or documents pertaining to Red Hook this may be informationRed Hook Bicentennial Key Chain that could be included.  Have you lived in Red Hook for 70, 80 or even a 100 years? Today, I saw the official key chain (a fundrasing item for the Bicentennial Celebration). It is a hook that is also a bottle opener. You, too, could own one for a small contribution of $5.00 If you would like more information, send me an email.
