Earlier this week I was going through a pile of paper on my desk. One of the flyers was from a local heating oil company offering their services to Realtors.
Because of the price of heating oil I wanted to know more about what they had to offer so I could pass on the information to my clients. Well today Shawn Scianna the territory manager for Petro Oil returned my call.
Petro Oil has been in business for over 103 years and this particular office provides service to Dutchess, Putnam and Northern Westchester counties.
Mr. Scianna told me they offered inspection of heating and air conditioning systems of properties being purchased or sold, testing of oil tanks, and will even do emergency oil readings for closing - even if Petro Oil was not the company who delivered the oil.
With the cold of winter upon us and the cost of heating a home escalating, this company offers a $100 credit to new home buyers signing up for automatic service. There are also some unadvertised specials which you can get more information on by calling Mr. Scianna at 845-559-3857.
Also, for low income Energy Assistance LIHEAP and also the HEAP programs; one of their customer service representatives would be more than happy to help with the paperwork.
