During August there were 31 single family homes listed in Hyde Park, of which the most expensive house was one for $449,000. When I look at the new listings it was encouraging to see most of them were in the range where sales have occurred.
There were 8 sales in Hyde Park during August, a big improvement over July. Sale prices ranged from $180,000-$312,000 and if you look at the chart below you can find out where each of these sales were located.
Looking for a home for less than $350,000? Hyde Park has a healthy inventory. It is also close to Poughkeepsie, the county seat, and Metro-North trains for those having to commute.

- Mills Mansion, in Staatsburg which is part of the town of Hyde Park. Mills Mansion has an awesome view of the Hudson River, Catskill Mountains and a lighthouse.
