The majority of my marketplace consist of three Counties, Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster. Some of my Clients start there search in Dutchess but ends up in Columbia County because they might get more land and house for their money.
Columbia County is another wonderful Hudson Valley location with lots to do. If you are into antique Hudson is the place to be. Germantown is along the Hudson River and just a short ride to Bard College , Red Hook and Rhinebeck. Chatham is the site of many fine older homes and home to the newly renovated Chatham Inn and I can tell you that the food is excellent. There are many other wonderful towns to visit.
