Why did the turtle crossed the road?

The turtle crossed the road to get to the other-side. This is a riddle small children usually tell, and Turtleexpect you to laugh but it's not that funny.

Some of these turtles never make it to the other-side because they go crunch under car tires.

Very soon we will be noticing this migration to the other-side of the road, so drive carefully and try to avoid them.

This is the photo of a turtle I helped cross the road using a piece of stick, he was not a happy character, he kept snapping so I found out why it was so named. I almost tripped and fell right on on top of it. I shudder to think what would have happened.

Writing about the turtle I started wondering about wildlife that are considered endangered species.  These can have an impact on real estate.  Once I was working with a developer who could not  move forward because of rattle snakes which were considered an endangered species in the area.

So what type of endangered species have you run into when selling land?
