I have what I consider the most important tip for home sellers today.
I look at market data around the country, however I can only address the market in which I operate. People I run into in my 
daily activities comment on the numerous for sale signs in various neighborhoods. Many of the signs have been up for a rather long time. For some their lives is at a standstill because all their equity is tied up in their home, and they are watching it slip away as the months go by.
There is a saying "everything sells at the right price". Therefore, the most important tip for home sellers today is to take a look at their home price, have your real estate agent do an updated comparative market analysis and then make the necessary price adjustment.
I will admit, it will not be easy but this might be your best solution. Adjust to the market of the moment by bringing that price down.
